In an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, with a décor inspired by wood and Japanese culture, UDDO (wood in Japanese) offers the flavors and ancestral tradition of the finest Izakaya cuisine. The Japanese word Izakaya (居酒屋) composed of 3 kanji characters means "stay-drink-place." The kitchen is situated behind the imposing marble bar designed by Architect Nuno Rodrigues, that has a window connecting to the living room, a space that conveys life and symbolizes the traditional cooking that is visible in almost all Izakayas in Japan.
The gastronomy presented is exclusive and specially thought by the Chef taking into account the freshest ingredients, adapted to the seasonal offer in a kitchen inspired by the good Portuguese Tradition, but in a contemporary reinterpretation. The à la carte service is available at lunch and dinner, with dishes for all tastes. At lunch it is also possible to choose an executive menu. The wine cellar offers a careful choice of domestic and foreign green and mature wines - with particular focus on the DIVAI wines, born in the Alentejo, reflecting the Lusitanian soul and the quality of the Alentejo soils and vineyards.
